I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Clemson University. I earned my Ph.D. in Computer Science, supervised by Dr. Xintao Wu at the University of Arkansas in 2020. Before that, I completed my B.Eng. in Electronic Engineering at Tsinghua University, China in 2014.

My research focuses on advancing AI with particular emphasis on responsible and trustworthy AI. I strive to create AI systems that are not only powerful and efficient, but also transparent, fair, and aligned with human values. By bridging theory and real-world applications, I aim to advance the state of the art in trustworthy AI and foster broad societal benefits from AI advancements.
